About me

Hello, I’m Jonathan, a language enthusiast. I consider myself trilingual in Spanish, German, and English. Although born in Germany, my upbringing was shaped by a multicultural background – my roots are Spanish, and English, which I speak with near-native fluency, was also ingrained in my early years.

After diving into Sports Therapy and physical education studies in Germany and gaining work experience in several clinics, I landed in sunny Spain in 2010. Teaching has been my passion since 2011. With a rich background of ten years working in-house at a language school, where I taught English and German while preparing students for official exams (Cambridge, Trinity, and Goethe), I now thrive in a remote work setting. I love connecting with people from all corners of the globe. But it’s not all about exams. I also work as a copywriter and translator, spinning words in these three languages.

Whether you’re up for casual conversation, exploring medical terms, or prepping for official exams, my lessons are set and ready. I’m looking forward to meeting you in my lesson.

 

Interests

Outside of teaching, you’ll find me playing the piano and the silver flute. Back in the day, I used to be part of a youth orchestra, and now, I still enjoy a good music session with friends.

Not a big fan of clubbing; I’d rather have a friendly chat. Meeting new people and exploring different cultures is what I’m all about. And yeah, I’ve got a bit of a travel bug.

I like diving into language books; currently, I’m working on my Lebanese and Syrian Arabic, a passion that has kept me engaged for several years.

Also, if there’s a good film in the cinema or if you fancy catching a live classical orchestra, count me in. Any plans to explore new spots in a caravan? That’s my thing as well.

Besides that, whether it’s a hike, a swim, or just chilling on the beach watching the sunset – count me in.
