I have a Masters Degree from NYU in Politics. In addition to my teaching experience, I also have over 10 years of business experience in Financial Services in San Francisco, CA. Four years ago, I moved to the charming Colonial City of Merida, Mexico where I am teaching Business English and raising a bilingual son.
In my free time, I am often exploring the ruins, beaches and watering holes of Mexico. I love to travel,and I have visited many places in Europe and Latin America. I love to meet people from all over the world and sample the local cuisine.
Swimming and Snorkeling: There are thousands of jungle watering holes, known as Cenotes, in the Yucatan Peninsula where I live. Some have caves and interesting rock formations. There are also beautiful Caribbean beaches with reefs teeming with tropical fish. The largest fish in the world, the Whale Shark, migrates through here, and I have been lucky to swim with them in the ocean.
My schnauzer, Chispas: He is a year old now and full of energy and mischief.
Spicy Food: UNESCO has designated traditional Mexican cuisine as a cultural treasure, and I enjoy sampling the regional specialties and learning to prepare some of them.
